A little about me......
Hey......I am Andrew, or Andy as my not so nearest and dearest refer to me. I'm a 29 year old photographer living in the East of Scotland. I have spent all my life with a camera in my hand and truly believe that pictures speak a thousand words. My main passion is photography and my love for catching that special moments shows in the pictures I produce.
Working in aviation since leaving school has produced some unforgettable experiences that I have tried in my work life to capture for those unable to witness the beauty of flight, Now however I want to simply portray the beauty of the each and every client I photograph, weather it be on your special day, the birth of a child or a portrait in the studio.
I simply started my creative journey as most photographers do shooting purely for pleasure. Now, my passion for photography and the joy I derive from sharing it with others is leading me down the road of turning my love of being creative in to my career.

My approach to wedding photography leads you to a style that is very much in touch with today's trends. I document what I see, working unobtrusively letting the day unfold, capturing the magic of your day as it happens.

Custom designed albums, magazine styled, the traditional, or for something truly beautiful, a combination of both. Our album choices are amongst the finest around, produced in New York, it will perfectly enhance and reflect each moment of your special day.

It isn't long before you realise not every family is the same and infact many families arent the same from one day to the next which is why I want to capture the special moments today for tomorrow.
The family sections is for exactly just that. Covering things such as Birthday parties, engagments, pregnancy and the growing up of children. Of course many families have furry additions to their respective 'clans'

When it comes to modelling, performing and acting your portfolio serves as your resume and showcases your body of work. Whether you are signed to an agency or are a freelance model, putting together your portfolio is one of the most important aspects of your career. And your portfolio is only as good as your photographer!!!
Portfolio sessions are ideally suited for updating or creating model portfolios and we are able to offer different options to suit budget and requirement.
Sessions usually take place outside in any environment, the beach, countryside or urban locations or inside the studio providing sufficient ambient light.
We would advise bringing as many changes of clothes as you wish, perhaps differing styles and looks to make the most of your session.

Andrew Sheppard Photography based in Edinburgh offers and provides event photography services in the central belt of Scotland and throughout the UK.
I cover all sporting events, charity events as well as parties, black tie balls, corporate dinners and team building events.
At most events we can bring along our computers and dye sublimation printers and are able to print photos almost immediately, the images are also available to view and buy on line, usually within hours of an event ending.
